Compro Árbores (Buy Trees) Gold Edition


Cranio is a Brazilian artist who is best known for his trademark blue Indian. The character represents the indigenous people of Brazil and can been found all across the world in funny and curious situations. With their unmissable blue and distinctive shape, these little men provoke the observer to think about contemporary issures like consumerism, corrupt politicians and the environment. ‘Compro Árbores’ or ‘Buy Trees’ is the second print by Cranio, the last being in 2012. This prints adds another unique and significant character to his gang, sending a strong message about the conservation of the environment and specifically trees. Deforestation in Brazil is still a major issue and ‘Compro Árbores’ aims to highlight and promote the need for change. 'Compro Árbores' will be released 15th of September 8pm GMT
