The Dal East London Dare Wall #2

DALeast

This piece by Dal East is an image that has been appropriated from Dal's original mural of the piece in East London, UK. This was "Wall No. 2" of Seven walls that Dal had created in the earlier part of 2013. Whilst Dal was producing his murals, he would begin with rolling on his backgrounds for each piece. Once he had completed the backgrounds for each mural, he would photograph the walls to a very professionally high standard. He then had these photos printed, and using Acrylic, hand-painted the figures he would produce, on top of these Giclee printed photographs. This unique, one-off piece was completed on Hahnemuhle Paper and is signed by the artist. The piece is also in its original Musuem framing that was used to curate the piece at the Dal East London Dare Exhibition in East London.
