In Banksy

Banksy has just released a video showing he had a stall at Venice Biennale, one of the most prestigious art events in the world, to which he has never been invited. The video released on his Instagram feed shows he assumingly manned the stall himself, never showing his face for a set of 9 pieces of work dubbed ‘Venice in oil’ showing a huge cruise liner towering over the famous gondolas of Venice.

Banksy said on his Instagram “Setting out my stall at the Venice Biennale. Despite being the largest and most prestigious art event in the world, for some reason, I’ve never been invited.”

Later detailed on his official website, the unknown street artist, said: “Yesterday I set up a stall in the park selling 100% authentic original signed Banksy Canvases for $60 each”.
